Hello world, I'm Stijn, a freelance Software Architect and Technical Coach

With over 15 years of experience in software development consulting, I have seen firsthand the positive impact that well-crafted solutions can have on a company's operations and growth. I strongly believe in the power of technology to transform businesses and organizations.

As a Freelance Software Architect and Agile Technical Coach, I offer a range of services that help companies start up, digitalize, maintain, and scale their solutions and development teams. Those services address the unique challenges and needs of each client. I consult on technology choices, refactoring legacy applicationsand architectural patterns in the context of web- and cloud solutions; I'm facilitating requirement gatherings and modelling workshops; and I can lead development teams. I also offer training and coachingto software developers, helping them to build their skills and knowledge and contribute to the success of the organization.

My approach is very open-minded, transparent and non-dogmatic, as I believe that the best solutions are often those that are tailored to the specific needs and goals of the organization. I draw inspiration from a variety of sources, including the Domain Driven Design, Extreme Programing, Agile, Lean and Software Craftsmanship communities, and I always strive to stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and techniques in my field.
