This is preferably combined by an exercise that will assess their technical knowledge from coding language, style, patterns and design.
I also emphasize a friendly atmosphere during the hiring process to ensure that candidates can be comfortable enough to showcase their best qualities and skills. My goal is not only to evaluate the developer's current expertise, but I also want to determine whether they would be a good fit for our team and company culture for any upcoming challenges your company might face in the future.
